broken power key

the power key is broken on my macbook. is there anyway to turn it on without using the power key? this problem has happened to me before and i had to get a new key pad however Im in the middle of the andes at the moment so have no way of getting it repaired. does anyone have any ideas???? |

 The only option I can offer you is in energy saver -- you can pre-set the Mac to come on at a certain time (and shut it off at a certain time as well). HTH! |
