I have a customers machine that had moisture get onto the logic board and corrode some areas.
I have done most of the repairs, but there is a small white surface mount component near the video cable connection that I need to replace. It looks like a fuse, and measures as an open circuit, there is another one closer to the battery terminal that measures as a short. Can anyone verify what it is and maybe its value? Thanks. Ps The main problem I have left is no video, with everything else firing up on startup. |

Do you have pictures ?? For a better understanding of your problem.
And what are you tying to value? The MBP Your post is a little vague Dont forget to use the Reputation System if someone has helped you out !!! Arguing with a zealot is only slightly easier than tunneling through a mountain with your forehead!!!!! |

The third photo shows the same type of component (B) near the battery connection. One measures open and the other measures short yet they both appear to be the same item.!! Thanks |
