iBook G4 Detects External Monitor, But Monitor Stays in Power Saving Mode

 I purchased a mini-VGA to VGA adapter for my iBook G4 and connected everything, but I can't seem to get my external monitor to display anything. It comes up briefly saying it's entering power saving mode, but that's about it. Mac OS 10.5.8 does display a window for setting ther resolution on the external monitor. I didn't install the "hack" because all I want to do is mirror my desktop. Any advice? Thank you, Chris |
