Wireless network cuts out

my airport keeps getting dropped just about every 30 mins i took it to the apple store they said that they fixed it but i dont think so my mbp is only a week and a half old. my dad and i think that it is the airport card and all the research we did says that is the problem any advice

Did you buy the MBP brand new? If so, I'd return it for a replacement.

There are a couple of things you could try - just in case it helps. First set up a Location for Home - place u use it the most - see here go into Sys Prefs > Network > Airport > Location - edit Locations. With that done and selected and MBP connected make sure the DNS numbers are showing up Sys Pefs > Network - should be showing a Primary and Secondary DNS IP number for your ISP at home. If it is not then add like this.

If it is only at your house that it is doing that try changing the channel on your router to "1", I had the same issue and that fixed it.

I would suggest the same, but a slightly different approach. Use a tool like AirPort Radar to scan your area and find out what other channels are being used. Then, make sure your router is set to a different channel.

Also if your SSID is hidden, make sure you turn that setting off.
