I have a MacBook Pro running OS10.5.8. It runs on my home wi-fi network. I can receive, but not send email. None of the servers will go "online."
I have checked the email settings with my desktop and they are exactly the same. I have double checked the ports with the ISP. I have repaired my disc permissions. I have deleted and re-entered my email accounts... This involves six accounts on three different outgoing servers. I can send and receive on my desktop, but only receive on my MacBook Pro. Does it have anything to do with the fact that both my desktop and laptop are on the same network and they are both configured for the same ports? I'm puzzled! |
