Hi everyone

I found nothing on google according this, but maybe you know how to do that:
Is it possible to start my MacBook from the wireless keyboard/mouse?
I'm using the wireless keyboard, magic mouse and an external screen with the MacBook closed and I don't want to open the MB when I boot in the morning, so that I could place it somewhere no one can see it...

thanks

I don't think that's possible. Unlike some earlier Mac models the current models do not seem to support powering up from the keyboard. Additionally, the information needed to control wireless keyboards and mice hasn't loaded yet and doesn't until shortly after the boot process has started. That's why these keyboards do not work well for troubleshooting.

The closest I have seen to what you want to do is a report that the Apple remote can be used in place of the alt ket to bring up the screen that allows picking the boot drive.

Let it sleep and not power down. Then you can "wake" it using external mouse.

Thanks for your answers, unfortunately sleepmode is not an option for me; I simply rearranged my workspace...
