Hey just wondering...if apple does in fact announce their new line of mbp's on jan 27th when can we expect to be able to purchase them?

Usually they're immediately available to order online with shipping times varying from 0 days to 2 weeks. They're usually available immediately in stores.

Yes, what miles01110 said. Apple has a thing with release dates. It is usually available right as an event that shows off the now product, or very shortly after it. However, that doesn't mean you will be able to go to the apple store right away and get it, it's only available right away online...or at least that's how it has been for every new apple item released at our local apple stores.
