Why is the macbook fan so terribly placed? The screen blocks the vent so that the fan is rendered useless sometimes. My macbook sometimes even overheats when i'm playing wow on a flat surface with no obstructions.

The macbook would be good for playing wow for example, but it overheats so easily.

The screen does not block the vent. There is sufficient clearance.

If your Mac is shutting down due to overheating, bring it in for service.
