How to use pcmcia card with macbook pro
I am looking into switching from an HP to a MacBook Pro.

I have a pcmcia card from Verizon as my internet access. As the Mac doesn't have a dedicated slot for this card is there a way to make this work?

I do not want to upgrade the card as this will change my contract.

There are also gadgets out there that let you adapt PCMCIA cards to the ExpressCard slot in the current Macs. Mac PCMCIA to Expressccard - Google Search. I have not tried any of these devices personally. Also some of these devices appear to have a better track record with Mac support than others so tread carefully.
