Facebook won't load on new MacAir

I have a new MacBook Air and love it. But Facebook does not load.

Other websites come up fine, and FB loads on my old PowerBook, no problem.

The MacBook Air's firewall is turned off. I've tried accessing FB with Firefox, Flock, and Safari. Also downloaded all current software updates (Mac) and rebooted, all to no avail.

(Edit -- it turns out neither YouTube nor Twitter will load up, either.)

Any ideas? I am baffled. And would be grateful for any suggestions.

Got it!
Some of the settings were still on what had been automatically detected at the hotel from when I was in the countires where FB and Twitter are blocked. When I removed the entries in the 'DNS server' and 'search domains' fields, voila! It works like a charm.

I was just going to suggest check DNS settings. Glad you figured it out.
