Hi All.

When downloading a music track on my macbook it automatically saves in downloads.
When i open downloads and click on the downloaded track it says ( The file itunes library cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes.


can anybody help me out with this?

I'm missing the part where you import your newly downloaded tune into your iTunes. What file types are you downloading?

Seems like you have 2 versions of itunes libraries. Did you recently do a backup?

i didnt download them into itunes, they just went into downloads then when i double click them to play it then says about itunes etc

try importing them into itunes then playing them

when i click on itunes on the desktop it dosnt work, maybe thats the problem lol.
i will try downloading i tunes
