Ibook G4 turned itself off, I turned it back on and got a loud fan, no chime, and black screen. Genius Bar dude useless. I have important document on hard drive I need to access to immediately.

Any ideas? Should I pull out the hard drive? I would like to fix $$ to replace.
QUOTE Thanks
