my latch above the screen broke. You will need to turn your head sideways to get a idea of what the latch looks like now because I have no camera. ok this is before L then the latch broke and it looks like this l the put that hooks the screen to the base of the laptop is broke
I know you can find replacements for powerbooks but I can not find them for ibooks, or if anyone has any clues to were I can make it to were my laptop will at least shut! thanks all.

also check this out http://www.wegenermedia.com/ibook2p.htm (i have never heard of this place though) i hope im lookin at the correct parts...but it looks like it may end up being around 50 bucks...do you have applcare or is it still under warantee??? if not i think a rubber band is going to be your best bet for the $$ -chris MoTM honor roll... when? i dont remember |

Maybe get like a nice velcro strap to go around the front of the iBook. You'd be able to shut it tight, wouldn't have to worry about it snapping/accidently popping open and it wouldn't look too bad (maybe get a white one??).
