There's nothing called windows when you first boot up into windows.

There are the windows of individual apps you have open and called the same on all operating systems.

You wouldn't happen to mean the 'desktop' would you? What you're looking at when you first boot up into the operating system and before you start any applications / programs? That screen from where everything else starts and where you can change your 'desktop' background picture?

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

If you have not changed the default location of your downloads, it is going to be in the Downloads folder which should be sitting on the right hand side of your dock unless you've removed it.

Click on the Downloads folder, click the link inside it that says 'Open in Finder'. Then drag Burn from there to the Desktop.
