how do i remove icons

how do i remove the icons from the bottom of the screen?
finder/safari/trash?

i think this is stopping my page from been full screen
any ideas please??

TattooedMac is offline
Mate that is called your dock and you can hide it by pressing option>command>d at same time and then just move cursor over it to see it.
To get it back again just press the same buttons again

thanks mate ive moved it now

my screen is still small
even when i click the plus its still dosnt go full screen
any ideas
im a newby to mac s you can prob tell

Its all good mate... Here to help where we can.
1st grab your window and put it in the top left corner of desktop as far as you can then grab the bottom right corner with the mouse and drag it to bottom right of your desktop ...

See Picture...
Sadly its one of the little quirks OS X and  has with the resizing of windows ...
