my question is: what are the most reliable chips to buy? buy from Apple, kingston, Pro memory, etc. |

Ordered from Aust got within 6 days Cheap and had installed in 5 minutes and no problems what so ever.. Here is the link >>> OWC, and there is a section you put in your Mac specs and it will bring up all compatible memory for your particular machine.. Great company EDIT : DONT buy from because there prices are inflated 300%.
