I have a DVD stuck in my iBook. The icon is visible but the disc won't come out using F12 or drag-icon-to-garbage or apple+E. The eject process starts but the disc can't come out and there's a loud noise like the disc is jamming into the inside of the case...
Had a tech guy look at it - he tried some other key-combos (don't know what exactly) to force it out and said the disc tray had probably shifted position inside. He said there's no point in taking the computer apart. Basically he said if I couldn't get any advice from mac forum users, I should get a new computer. Great ![]() Does anyone know what's wrong and what to do? Any advice is much appreciated. It's been stuck there for months and I can't find any answers... I'm not a tech wiz myself so I hope someone who recognizes this problem will be kind enough to let me know... Many thanks. V |
