I need to find an idiot prooof, 100% step by step guide to converting all my emails (Windows Mail, not Outlook format), saved in Personal Folders, on my old PC, to mbox so I can transfer to my new MacBook.

I am completely new to Mac, hence the need for a very simple guide.

I am aware I need some third party software to do this, but which is best?

Thanks in advance

Use thinderbird to convert your windows mail to thunderbirds mail format on the PC

Importing and exporting your mail - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

On the PC your Thunderbird profile should be in
* CUsers\<Windows user name>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\<Profil e name>\

Copy the Thunderbird mail over to the mac at
Youruserfolder/Library/Application Support/Thunderbird/Profiles/<Profile name>/

Then import your thunderbird profile now on the mac to apple's mail

Export to Mail.app - MozillaZine Knowledge Base
