Hello,

I just purchased the mini dvi to vga adaptar for my macbook. All went well you see it on tv perfectly except for fact that once i close the lid of my macbook my tv goes crazy. It loses connection and comes back if you hit the mouse it comes back then goes blank. Is this normal?? When I use insomniax and enable it and close lid it works perfectly the screen on tv stays solid. What is that ... you got to have your screen open in order for it not to go to sleep even when connected on min dvi to vga??

Thanks for all your help,
Joseph

Please read the following Apple KB article: LINK The same applies when using your TV as a monitor.

yeah it some times freaks out with clamshell mode (especially if you have insomniax running i bet.) Happens to me if I accidentally unplug the power cord.
