I'm just wondering - Why is it that everytime i use Handbrake to encode something, my 13" MBP seems to run smoother? What I noticed is that when I click on one of the folders that opens up in grid mode, it runs a lot smoother when I encode a video with handbrake. Even when i open dashboard it goes a lot smoother when running handbrake than without it. Why is that?

13" Macbook Pro - 2.53Ghz, 4GB RAM, 250GB HD
QUOTE Thanks
