Hi my macbook pro's Screen just broke and i can see anything on it. But i can tell everything is working because i can hear everything when you start it up.
If i hook up a monitor to the laptop will my screen just go to the monitor? or is there a setting i have to adjust on my laptop(which i cant see)? Thanks |

The external monitor should just go to the screen as you put it. You may have to wait for the computer to boot, put it to sleep, then wake it back up for it to recognize the resolution needed for the external monitor. Put the Mac to sleep by closing the lid. Keep the lid closed. Wake it up with the mouse or an external keyboard. Good luck.
