Macbook wont start

Hi-

I have a 2005 G4 Powerbook, titanium, and at first my charger just went out, and I bought a new charger. About 4 weeks went by, everything was fine, and just recently I went to plug it in and the prong sparked and I heard a pop! Now it won't start at all! Is this bad? Repairable? Please help!!

There is no way we can possibly tell what may have happened but it does sound ominous, especially since it sparked and popped. If you don't mind paying someone to repair the machine, I suggest taking it in to an authorized Apple repair or Apple store and have them look at. Be sure to obtain an estimate before you authorize any repair work done.
