I did a search on this topic and nothing showed up so i decided to post it. I am planning on buying a mbp 13" and wanted to add some RAM in myself and was wondering which type of RAM do i need to buy. Sorry if this is a dumb question, i usually deal with desktops more than laptops

Anything here.

Checking the apple website would have answered your question.

Specifically this part:

people seem to have good luck with this one and seems to be priced reasonably

I would recommend Crucial for their RAM: RAM Memory Upgrade: Dell, Mac, Apple, HP, Compaq. USB drives, flash cards, SSD at Crucial.com. I got a 4GB upgrade form them for my MBP, and it works great.

Or just be a little patient and wait. I got 4 gb of 1066mhz ram for only 50 bucks! Can't complain there! Just got lucky one day in the buy/sell thread.
