Hi,

I am a newbie on a macbook.

Looking for the on-screen keyboard, as is available on window OS.

Do you know where that feature is located?

Many thanks.

Mac 101: Activate the Onscreen Keyboard in OS X

Follow the instructions in this URL and then go to the flag by the clock and select Show Keyboard Viewer.

System Preferences - Language and Text - Input Sources - put a check next to Keyboard & Character Viewer

You'll now have an icon up on the right side of the menu bar where you can select the onscreen keyboard.

(You need to tell us what Mac and what version of OS X you are running for almost all questions like this. Instead of having to do it in every post, go to your Profile (link at the top of every page) - Edit Details - at the very bottom under Mac Specs - enter your info there and it will show up under your name in every post.)
