I am using a usb LaCie 500 Gb hard drive as time machine backup on a recent macbook pro. The drive spontaneously ejects itself intermittently. I have tried a different cable and a different drive, with and without a usb hub and the still get the eject. How do I test the usb port and controller on my mac?
QUOTE Thanks
