Powerbook G4 12"

First post and computer noob here.

My powerbook 12"' display died, and i was looking to hook it up to a dell Vga display.
What converters and connections do i need to accomplish this?
Do i need a Mini-dvi to Dvi, and then a Dvi to Vga?

Thanks a ton!

N

ps. if possible, could you maybe give a link to a store that has them in stock?

Mac Specs: MacBook Pro 500GB hard drive 4GB ram retired iBook 1.33Ghz Tiger / PowerBook 1Ghz 15"
I think this is what you are looking for .. I havent had a G4 12" PowerBook for a while.

Amazon.com: Mini-DVI to VGA Female Adapter Cable - iMac (Intel Core Duo), MacBook, and 12-inch PowerBook G4: Electronics

or

http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Video-ad.../ref=pd_cp_e_2 not exactly sure difficult to see the connectors... even though the description is right

but from what apple says atleast for the 12" PB 1.33 lists a mini dvi to vga

But have not done much with sending the display to a vga monitor .. I think is starts off as mirrored display instead of spanning ... so you should be good

Good luck

Don't get that one that's a mini-DVI to DVI cable you need one of these:-

Apple Mini DVI to VGA Adapter - Apple Store (U.S.)
(Mini DVI to VGA)

Obviously you can shop around a bit for a cheaper price
