60% of my CPU used for watching Youtube video?

I was watching a regular quality video on YouTube and I opened Activity Monitor and noticed that the video used 60% of my CPU and 6 threads. That seems like quite a lot but I'm not sure if that was 60% of my entire CPU or just 1 core. I have a 13" Macbook Pro with 2.53Ghz Core 2 Duo so I'm not too concerned, but it's eating my battery quickly. I hope Flash animation takes less power to run in the near future.

I have been talking to another friend of mine about this very subject. Flash is taking more and more CPU, especially that browser plug in under OSX. On one of my older PowerMac G4's I had to roll it back a couple of versions as the poor 733Mhz G4 was choking to death trying to play normal videos on YouTube. So what you are seeing is typical of the Flash Plugin of late....Dennis

That kind of CPU usage definitely explains why old Mac's have a problem with You-Tube (on top of slower GPU's as well).
