I recently got a 13.3 aluminum unibody macbook pro.

Here are the specs..

2,26 ghz
2gb ram
160gb hdd

Im looking into upgrading it to 4gb. I've picked out two.

NCIX.com - Buy Mushkin 976643A 4GB 2X2GB PC3-8500 DDR3-1066 CL7-7-7-20 204PIN SODIMM Apple Memory - 976643A In Canada.

and

NCIX.com - Buy Crucial CT25664BC1067 2GB 1X2GB PC3-8500 DDR3-1066 204PIN SODIMM Memory - CT25664BC1067 In Canada.

I would buy 2 of the crucial ones obviously. Can you guys please tell me which one is better or if there are other better ones? Thanks in advance!

Both are respected memory manufacturers.

Both have a CAS Latency of 7.

You're down to user preference or which is cheaper.

Yeah, I know. I'm no help.

Pretty much the same thing I would have said. The choice between the two comes down to:

- price of the ram
- shipping costs
- speed of delivery
- customer service of the seller including:
* politeness of the customer service people
* hassles of a return if needed
* return shipping costs
* restocking fees

I have used Crucial for all my memory needs for years and have been nothing short of satisfied. Great company and great products. It comes down to personal preference.

Crucial Canada
