iBook - I get grey apple screen and no further. Need bootable disk with utilities on it.

I do not have the original disks that came with the IBook G4. Any ideas. Please Help

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Yes. Purchase whatever operating system your machine is running as you cannot run Repair Disk or do a clean install without the install DVD. The install discs are vitally important and a must have for trouble shooting.

In the meantime try zapping the PRAM by rebooting and immediately holding down Command, Option P and R keys all at the same time until you hear the chimes for a third time.
