Good customizing idea! Since you used clear "cellotape" to adhere them...I assume the pictures can be easily changed if you want.

Sticking on some clippings from a magazine using tape? Is there something I am missing here?

That's how I did it.
Easy, low tech, quick to modify, and simple to reverse the process if desired.

If it doesn't look "cheesy" (the tape part) I think it's a decent low-tech way of customizing a laptop.
