Was just trying to view a commercial DVD and about 5 minutes into it, the video froze and the audio continued for about 20-30 seconds. Then the audio stopped and I could get no response from the keyboard. My Bluetooth mouse moves, but enacts nothing. Had to power it off. Any ideas? I have a mid-2009 unibody 15-inch, 2.8 ghz, 4g RAM, 500g unit. Thanks.

Did you try other DVDs to see if the same thing happens? Even a brand new commercial DVD can be defective. I'm assuming the DVD is a region 1 DVD for play here in the US.

Regards.

You were right on. The new DVD had some bad spots. Thanks.
