imho: Neither.
If you are in the minority, as I seem to be, and you have a real problem focusing on the screen when there is any sort of reflection on it, you'll not be happy with a gloss display without resigning yourself to the fact, up front, that you'll need to spend time adjusting either the screen / viewing position / sitting position / etc. when you use it. I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth. In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus. |

Can't you just get a matte screen protector? NuShield makes both DayVue and AntiGlare screen protectors for MacBooks:
Nushield - Best Quality Screen Protectors I have not bought one for my MacBook, but I used to have one for my old laptop. It was easy to install (no bubbles). It does not use adhesives, you just slide it under the bezel, and it sticks to your screen just using static cling. I'm sure that quite a few other manufacturers also make a similar product. 2007 13" white Macbook, 2 Ghz Core2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, Snow Leopard w/ 250 GB Samsung 840 SSD 32 GB WIFI iPad Mini Panasonic CF-30, 4 GB RAM, Win7/Ubuntu12.04LTS, 180GB Intel SSD |
