iBook - 3 ominous beeps at bootup?

Just swapped a hard drive on my ibook. it's been running fine for days. tonight, the wi-fi was exceptionally weak signal and i was 10 feet from the router. rebooted, same problem. pulled keyboard up to check the connection on the airport express card. signal became stronger. put keyboard back in place and then it froze. rebooted the computer again.

three ominous sounding beeps then nothing. the white stanby light on the front of the ibook started flashing repeatedly. anyone know what this is about?

i'm sorry. i freaked out and didn't search. this didn't need to go in this forum, and i should have searched first. admin please close and lock thread.

turned out to be kernel panic. i reset the pram and it was fine. thank you D3v1L80Y for this thread.
