I would like to transfer my compact flash cards as fast as possible. Which way would be the fastest on my Macbook Pro 17?

Firewire 800 compact flash reader or Express card slot compact flash reader?

That would be the firewire 800 CF Reader, up to 800mb/sec.

What if I get a dual Firewire 800 card adapter that fits into my Express card slot? Will I still get the fast 800mb/s speeds?

Then I think the slot you're using would act as a bottleneck.
