Looks like it's fine. Only other thing to check is height. Must be no more than 9mm. Anything taller will not fit.
Price is a bit much. They are about $20 cheaper on Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!.

Yes, that will work just fine. Seagate's 500GB laptop drive is 9.5mm in height. The only company that makes a 12mm 500GB drive is Hitachi.

I think WD does too.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

i have read that 12mm hard drives fit in all the new unibody macbook pro, i havent tried it myself though
