Hi guys,

I bought a MacBook White (120 GB HD, 2 GB RAM) about 3 months ago now, and I've been having absolutely no problems with it. The past couple days, I've noticed a really faint, soft click coming from around the hard drive area. Now, I've googled it, and everywhere I read click = death for the HD. It's a really faint click, no scratching noises or anything like that, and it only happens every 4-5 minutes or so, whether I'm doing HD intense stuff, or just surfing.

Should I be worried? Or is this normal?

Thanks for any help!

It's probably just the heads parking, completely normal. If it's loud and the machine isn't running properly, that's another story.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
