hey,

i have a mid 2009 macbook pro that i got about 2 weeks ago. the isight was working fine until the other night. i opened up photo booth and the camera worked for about 30 seconds before the screen went black and a message appeared saying its not connected. this happens with imovie etc.

when i reset the PRAM, the same thing happens again, open up photo booth it works for 30 seconds and disconnects again

the isight appears in the "system profiler" under the usb section, but disappears when photo booth has been opened

has anybody had this problem before?
is it a hardware or software issue?

thanks in advance,
dannyy

Try going to your user Library/Preferences and drag this file to the desktop -com.apple.PhotoBooth.plist - then run PhotoBooth to see if that was the issue. If problem still there you can always replace file if needed.
