MacBook - Macbooks CD Drive making noises

Hello, i was wondering if this was a bad thing that my macbook(with a superdrive) was making noises when i turn it on or when ever i put in a CD

What kind of noises? Grinding is bad, but all drives make some noise when discs are inserted.
