I am new to macs and wondered if anyone knows of software eqivilent to PC Money , and also any free downloads

I'd give Open Source Mac - Free Mac software, all open-source, all OS X. a visit, very helpful for when I converted...

For the finance software, Quicken for Mac has been delayed (yet again). You may want to look at iBank:

For what? There is a lot of free software but it would be easier to help you find something if we knew what you were looking for.
