Hello,
I would like to ask the average time of those 1066fsb Macbook's battery time.
Typical usage should be Adobe's web suite(heavy usage) + Wireless enabled.
I would appreciate real life responses than company specifications.

Best regards,
Chris

If you ask me, I've had mine for a year and the battery duration has dropped 11%. I don't know if that's above or below average, but I've treated my MacBook with fairly good care. So technically speaking at that rate, I'm sure you could get 6-8 years out of your battery. Hope this helped =)

Thanks for your reply dear Vega but I'm intrested in how long should my future 1066FSB Macbook would last in situations I mentioned previously while beeing in battery(not using external power).

Could you be more specific? There are 4 different types of MacBooks out there with a 1066 front side bus.

Aluminum or plastic? 13, 15 or 17"?

I have the 1066FSB Macbook Unibody 13" and I get about 4 1/2 to 5 hours out of my battery with Wifi enabled and surfing the web. Sound is disabled, brightness is about half (I don't really know how much of a difference it makes since it is LED backlighting and I have never bothered testing it).

AptMunich I'm trying to collect information from all of them that's why I don't ask for a specific model
Thank you Narcissus for your reply, much appreciated.
So if we count a 15" display, 80% brightness battery should be around 3:30?

By the looks of it, the new model out now should be closer to the 5 hour mark.

Check out this page http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/features.html

Apple does seem to live up to the estimates they provide. Mine is pretty close to what it was originally said to be (Mine is a MacBook, not a MacBook Pro).

MacBook 13" Unibody, iPhone 4

Gotcha. But you can't compare the 13" to the 15" – the battery is much larger on the 15".

I have the 13" unibody MacBook and my friend has the new 13" unibody MacBook Pro with integrated battery. You can easily squeeze 4-5 hours out of the Macbook, the MBP may get a slight bit more.

I MUST collect as much information as I can in order NOT to buy something that will not satisfy me in the end.
Buying an apple laptop is not that easy as a PC(due to price, upgrade issues).
QUOTE Thanks
