I am looking at getting speakers for my 13" MBP and would like to know if the green imput cable will work in the headphones jack. My friend has his Acer hooked up with Altec Lansing speakers and they sound amazing, so I am looking at buying them off Amazon, they are only 60 new. So, I am curious if it would work the same way as his Acer does, by hooking up the speaker cable into the headphone jack on my MBP. I have my Ipod hooked up to it and it sounds awesome.

Yes, should work just the same. It is an audio line out.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
