Hi,

I am an apple newbie and have just bought a MacBook Pro 13".

What hard drives are compatable if I want to look at getting a bigger drive?

Mac Specs: MBP 2.3 Ghz 4GB RAM 860 GB SSD, iMac 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 32GB RAM, Fusion Drive 1TB

Pretty much any of these.

If you need bigger then these.

Hi,

Thanks for that, will probably look to get the 500GB drive.

Will all of those fit okay in my MacBook Pro and will they be as quiet as the drive it comes with?

Also can I ghost my old drive onto the new one?

Yes they fit, otherwise I wouldn't have posted them.

Depends on the HDD if it's loud or not. Read the reviews.

Yes you can ghost your old HDD onto the newer one via. SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner.
