I leave my macbook plugged in next to an air vent almost all of the time. Whenever I come back to use it, it's very cold to the touch all over. I'm just curious, is this bad for the computer? It's spending most of its time pretty cold, and only on display sleep.

Look at it this way, the biggest problem with processor speed increases... is cooling it. Most data centers are kept cold enough that I've stored my frozen lunches in the sub floors

NOTE: Thread moved to appropriate forum. Not just anything goes in Anything Goes

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
