MacBook Pro - connect to 23" wide screen

When connected to cinimer display the picture is not good quality as my G52,3 dual . any help thanks eddie

Did you adjust the resolution once the monitor was plugged in?

You need to be more specific. What do you mean by "the picture is not good quality"?
