I have a 2 month old 17" macbook pro. Noticed that the indicator light was yellow and my battery bar said not charging. I unplugged the cord from the wall, let it cool down.
When I plugged it back in after about a half hour it was yellow for a few seconds, said not charging on my computer, then went to orange and started charging. A. What does this yellow color indicate? B. Does the power brick stop charging when it gets hot? C. Any other reasons this happened or suggestions? I'm just nervous because I have several friends who bought their macbook, not the newer pros, but had a faulty battery shipped with the computer. I am also nervous because I have an internal battery and can't afford to not be without my computer so soon with a battery replacement issue. |
