ibook vs. powerbook speakers

are the speakers the same? i am speaking about the 12 inch one mostly, but also in regards to all of them.

I've never listened to the powerbook speakers, but I can tell you the iBook speakers and are nothing to brag about. But it's best to just get external speakers or headphones.

Not only are they nothing to brag about, the even look ugly on comp..I look at them everday and just think why did they do them that way..I would think the Powerbook would have better speakers cause I'm pretty sure it has an extra speaker than the iBook (plus the Powerbook is made for that sorta stuff)

Because of the size of laptops I should think that it's going to be difficult to fit a good pair of speakers in their. They are ok if your desperate, but a bit tinny.

Laptop speakers are all crap. Notebook makers just can't fit a decent pair in a laptop, unless it's a monster size. It's just a fact of life
