Hi.
I have bought a new battery for my MacBook Pro 15.4", Intel (the old model), and now I have a problem with the new battery. First of all, it took some time just to get it up and running, and now it doesn´t warn me if the battery level is low, it just shuts down the computer. It doesn´t go to sleep, it fully shuts off. Can some body help me? |

You probably need to reset the System Management Controller (SMC). Refer to the following Apple KB article to learn how: Link

You could try calibrating the battery. Apple Portables: Calibrating your computer's battery for best performance.
You might find a few more clues over at MacbookBatteryProblem.com. |
