Powerbook lid question
 
Hi all, ok I splashed out and bought a powerbook. Its a lovely bit of kit.

One question for anyone with the 15" models...

Does the lid of your powerbook sit firmly flush in line with the bottom half.

When mine is closed its not flush, and when you hold it in your hand the lid can be pushed down slightly. Where the hinge is its flush but its not flush towards the sides so it goes in a slight v shape.

Is this normal?

yes, it is quite normal for the 15 in. powerbooks.

wtg... awesome purchase.. and yea like said before it is normal you dont want ur keys scratching that beautiful 15 in. screen do ya :)

Thanks for the reply, bit of a shame really, worried that the lid will give way when transporting it frequently. Ibook does seem more rugged for moving around.
