Now im new to apple, so please excuse me if i sound like a retard.

Is there gonna be a G5 this year? If so does anyone have a date when the laptops our gonna have them in it?

Either in may or june, it will be released (80% chance). Just before the WWDC. Also has it on their site alread to ship at May 9.

the looks are the same, its still os X, just with a **** of a lot of new features. it also offers 64bit support for g5's. at 129.00 its a cheap upgrade
