I zapped the PRAM to try and fix a battery issue. I knew that it would return some settings back to default. The issue is that upon boot up, the Mac sound is as loud and the screen as bright as possible. How can I set these settings once and make sure they're set even at boot up?

The Ambient Light Sensor from System Pref>Energy has been unchecked.
QUOTE Thanks
